     Mary Ann Betts was born on 20 March 1801 in Mercer County, Pennsylvania.1 She was the daughter of Christian Betts and Elizabeth Birch.2,1,3 She married Roswell Graves, son of Benjamin Graves and Lucy Arnold, on 20 March 1820 in Jamestown, Mercer County, Pennsylvania.1 She was left a widow when Roswell Graves died on 15 February 1882.4 She died on 15 June 1884 in Crawford County, Wisconsin, at age 83.1 She was buried in Graves Cemetery, Barnum, Crawford County, WisconsinG.5
