     Elizabeth Birch was born on 10 January 1782 in Crawford County, Pennsylvania.1 She was the daughter of James Birch and Sarah Buckley. She married second Christian Betts, son of Andrew Betts and Catherine Sherbondy, in 1800 in Pennsylvania.2 She died on 31 March 1844 in Mercer County, Pennsylvania, at age 62.1 She was buried in State Line Cemetery, Crawford County, PennsylvaniaG.1
