Read, Thornhill. Ellen's maiden name, McBride, appears on her gravestone in Thornhill Community Cemetery. Her dates of birth and death appear as well: Born Dec. 12, 1839, died Feb. 3, 1870. Daughter Annie Husband is buried with her. This is evidently a family plot, for her husband George and his second wife, Helen Lane, as well as two of Helen Lane's children, are buried here as well. |
