A transcription of this cemetery was done in 1990 by the Hamilton Branch of the Ontario Genealogical Society and Peter and Mary's gravestone was evidently readable at the time. This compares well with an earlier transcription done by Harley Misener.

It reads:

Peter Misener does not appear to be in Beverly as of the 1819 Beverly assessment, but he is there by 1823.

The 1851 agricultural census for Beverly has survived and shows Peter on concession 2, lot 7.

We will note here that A History of the People of Troy shows the following children for Peter and Mary:

Johnnie and Juliette, both single
Jane, who married Mr. Faulkner
Clark and Mary who died young.
The 1861 census at Beverly adds Emma.

Connie Duke's Misener Family website shows Peter Misener's birth in Hardwick, Sussex County, New Jersey, and notes his marriage to Mary Smith.

She lists his children as:

John, b. 1818; Elizabeth Ann, b. 1822; Mary Margaret, b. 1823; Ellen, b. 1824; Emma, b. 1828; Jane, b. 1830. Andrew, b. 1832; Clark, b. 1837; Julia, b. 1842.
