Dr. Robert Peel Aikman was the son of John Aikman. Evidently, Robert attended his father at his Burlington home in John's last days. Robert was in Collingwood and had with him his mother when she died some years later. Burlington was formerly Wellington Square. The name was changed to Burlington in 1877. |
