Benjamin Graves was born between 1641/42 and 1645 in Concord, Middlesex County, Massachusetts. He was the son of John Graves. He married Mary Hoar, daughter of John Hoar and Alice (--?--), on 21 October 1668 in Concord, Massachusetts.2,3 Benjamin Graves served in Captain Wheeler's company during King Philip's War (Indian Wars) in July & August 1675.3 He left a will on 18 March 1714/15. He died between 1715/16 and 1724 in Saybrook, Middlesex County, Connecticut.
In 1681, Benjamin Graves (8th great-grandfather of Faye Doyle West) bought land from Christopher Hall (7th great-grandfather of Richard Reid West.)3
