Benjamin Graves was born on 2 March 1676/77 in Concord, Middlesex County, Massachusetts. He was the son of Benjamin Graves and Mary Hoar.1 He married first Ruth Sterling, daughter of William Sterling and Mary Blaisdell, in 1697.2 He held several colonial offices. He lived in Colchester, New London County, Connecticut, in 1708. He married second Mary Hanes about 1711. He died on 30 December 1752 in Colchester, Connecticut, at age 75. He was buried in Colchester Burying Ground, Colchester, New London County, ConnecticutG.
