Note that Margaret's maiden name is said to be McLeish on her gravestone. We must believe her to be a daughter of George and Margaret if for no other reason that as of the 1891 census Isabella McLeish is living with her and Duncan Jr., and Almira, as of the 1891 census. Isabella McLeish died later that year and Duncan Shepherd was the informant for her death. |
