Witnesses James G. Schram of Wainfleet and Michael Parks of Walpole. On November 16th, 1859. The county marriage registers do not typically show the exact location of the marriage. |
| Note | A death registration for Isabella Eliza Cook has yet to be found. For the moment, we can only say that she was living at the time of the 1871 census and was deceased by the time of the 1881 census, which was begun 4th April. In this, Jesse is shown as a widower. Update. The Niagara branch of the Ontario Genealogical Society has an index entitled the Neff Young Collection. This dates deaths (or burials) in Haldimand County and it shows an Isabella E. Pattison either dying or being buried on 11 March, 1879, in Garnet United Cemetery. This is in Walpole Township and is probably Isabella, the wife of Jesse. A transcription of the cemetery has yet to be found. |
