Witness Arthur Burnet of North Dumfries. On 27 November, 1863. The county marriage registers do not typically show a specific marriage location. This does not, however, appear to be a First Church, Galt, marriage. Dr. Thomson was, at the time, minister at Knox Presbyterian Church in Galt. In 1989, the church suffered a fire in the annex which destroyed their old records. The Presbyterian Church Archives in Toronto do not show any early records for Knox in their finding aids. |
