| Note | See GS2987, First Church Death Records. Some of these do indeed seem to represent death dates, however the 'death' of Rebecca McKenzie, age 62, is recorded on June 7th, 1856. Since the gravestone in section 2 of Mountview records her death on June 5th, the 7th would appear to be her burial date. Also, since Mountview was not in existence at the time of Rebecca's death, and since she is recorded in First Church deaths, she will almost certainly have been buried in First Church's cemetery, also known as the Strang Burial Ground, at present day High Park in Cambridge/Galt. |
