James' older brother Robert and most of his family were buried in the Church of the Good Shepherd Cemetery at Riverston in Arthur Township. James and brother William and several of their family members are buried in Mount Forest Cemetery. The town of Mount Forest is at the north end of Arthur Township in Wellington County. The town's cemetery is just across the township line in Egremont Township in Grey County. Death reg. 017889-90 Arthur Tp., Wellington Co. James Harper died 10th January 1890. Age 73 years, 9 months. Farmer. Born Co. Antrim, Ireland. Presbyterian. Informant Richard Doyle, Reeve, Arthur Tp., Mt. Forest P.O. James' place birth is shown as County Antrim in his death registration.
