The marriage is recorded in Beverly and performed by Rev. J. G. Foote. William's parents are recorded as Malachi and Elizabeth Sager. Both the bride and groom are 22 years of age. Her parents are recorded as John and Harriett Gamble. The township clerk, Wallace McDonald, has written a note at the bottom of the registration stating that John and Harriett Gamble should be listed as adoptive parents and that the brides name is Badger. |

| Note | Rosetta Sager's death registration number is 033052-11. At the time of death her residence was at Concession 3, Lot 1, in Beverly Township. The registration states that her father's name was Thomas Badger. It says that her mother's name was unknown. The informant was her son, LeRoy Sager of Troy. Rosetta's gravestone in Troy Cemetery shows her maiden name as Gamble though she was born with the name Badger. She is a full sister of John Gamble (Badger), also in Troy Cemetery, and Daniel Badger. Rosetta, John, and their older sister Elizabeth, were fostered by John Gamble and his wife, Harriet Able.
