Retired. Widow. Parents David Able and Mary Dineen, both born USA. Informant William Sager of Troy. See notes for husband John Gamble regarding the foster children of John and Harriet as they appear with them in Beverly Township in the 1861 and 1871 censuses. It appears that Rosetta (Badger) Gamble and her husband William Sager took care of Harriet in her old age. She remembered them in her will. Harriet's will is to be found on microfilm MS887 reel 1928, #7414. See notes for Harriet's brother Wesley with regard to a conflict in dates of birth. We present Harriet as being born in 1826, but either her year of birth (as shown in the above death registration) is wrong or Wesley's is wrong. |
