Malachi Sager died September 28,1908. Age 65, born Beverly. Place of death Con. 3, lot 1, Beverly. Farmer. Married. Father's name Malachi Sager. Attending doctor and informant J. L. Addison M.D. of St. George.

Numbers of such records for residents of the Troy area of Beverly show the attending doctors to be of St. George, in Brant County. St. George isn't far from the Dumfries-Beverly border - at least in a car; a horse drawn vehicle, not so much. The borders of North and South Dumfries are contiguous with Beverly, with a very slim 'Gore of Beverly' intervening before the lots on the given concessions beginning to number. Lots on the Beverly concessions number west to east; lots on the Dumfries concessions run east to west.
