A marriage record has not been found, but she is in Detroit at the time of 1920 census with husband James and son Henry Allen, age 15 and adopted daughter Dorothy (born Canada), age 11. In 1925, Allen Trimm, parents James (Trimm) and Marie Forbush, married Eva Carlson and his sister Dorothy was one of the witnesses. Allen Trimm appears in the 1930 census at Detroit, shown as divorced, with his parents James and Marie. By 1940, Henry Trimm, as he is shown, is still in Detroit with, by this time, wife Dorothy. His oldest son is named Orville. |
