     James Striker was born before 1801.1 He was the son of Samson Striker and Ursula Clapp.2 James filed a petition for a grant of 200 acres as the son of Loyalist Samson Striker on 11 Jul 1822. He swore an Oath of Allegiance to King George IV on 2 Mar 1826.1
