     Silvester Jones was born on 22 March 1829 in Troy, Beverly Twp, Wentworth County, Ontario.1 He was the son of James Jones and Hannah Goodale.2 He married Janet Long in 1853.3 He and Janet Long lived on the north half of Lot 11, Con 3, Beverly Twp, Wentworth County, Ontario.1 He died on 22 January 1907 in Troy, Beverly Twp, Ontario, at age 77.1
