      Marie Ellen Doyle was born on 27 April 1927 in New Westminster, British Columbia.1 She was the daughter of Charles Michael Doyle and Gerda Louisa Naas. In 1934 Marie was a flower girl in the annual May Day celebration. She was a bridesmaid at the wedding of James Gordon Doyle and Marion Violet Broder on 20 July 1946 in St Peter's Church, New Westminster, British Columbia.2,3 She received her diploma in Psychiatric Nursing in New Westminster, British Columbia, on 13 May 1954. She married Michael Corcoran, son of Daniel Corcoran and Johanna (--?--), on 5 May 1962 in St Peter's Church, New Westminster, British Columbia.4 She died on 3 July 2011 of pancreatic cancer in Peace Arch Hospice, White Rock, British Columbia, at age 84.5,1
