     Margaret A Scanlan was born in 1890.2 She was the daughter of Terence Joseph Scanlan and Julia Lynch.3 She was a school teacher when she married John Hamilton.3 She married John Dunn Hamilton, son of Alexander Hamilton and Mary Ann Dunn, on 26 January 1914 in St Edward the Confessor Church, Westport, Leeds & Grenville County, OntarioG.3,4 She died in 1947.2 She was buried in St Columbanus Cemetery, Elgin, Leeds & Grenville County, OntarioG.2
