     John Dunn Hamilton was born on 29 July 1881 in South Crosby Twp, Leeds & Grenville County, Ontario.2,3 He was the son of Alexander Hamilton and Mary Ann Dunn.3 He was baptized on 14 August 1881 in St Philip Neri Church, Toledo, Leeds & Grenville County, OntarioG.3 He married Margaret A Scanlan, daughter of Terence Joseph Scanlan and Julia Lynch, on 26 January 1914 in St Edward the Confessor Church, Westport, Leeds & Grenville County, OntarioG.1,3 He died in 1954.4,5 He was buried in St Columbanus Cemetery, Elgin, Leeds & Grenville County, OntarioG.5
