     Mary Ann Dunn was born in 1852 in South Crosby Twp, Leeds & Grenville County, Ontario.1 She was the daughter of Michael Dunn and Margaret Jordan. She married Alexander Hamilton, son of John Hamilton and Rose McCarney, on 12 January 1874 in St Philip Neri Church, Toledo, Leeds & Grenville County, OntarioG.2 She died in 1890 in South Crosby Twp, Leeds & Grenville County, Ontario.3 She was buried on 1 April 1891 in Philipsville Catholic Cemetery, Philipsville, Leeds & Grenville County, OntarioG.4,1

Research Note: Hub of the Rideau says Mary Ann was the step-daughter of Michael Dunn.5 Her marriage record says her father is Patrick Dunn (not Michael) and her mother is Margaret Jordan. I believe this is wrong because I can find no other records indicating that there was a Patrick Dunn with a wife named Margaret and a daughter named Mary Ann. There is only one Patrick Dunn in Leeds County on the 1871 census; he has no family. Also, the marriage was witnessed by Sarah Dunn - Michael Dunn and Margaret Jordan had a daughter named Sarah (Mary Ann's sister).
