For all the world, the marriage registration for Daniel and Mary appears to date the marriage to the month of October. The Waterloo branch of the Ontario Genealogical Society has a transcription of marriage notices as they appeared in the Dumfries Reformer and this dates the marriage to the 16th of December, 1870. This latter date appears to have the rights of it. |
