For all the world, the marriage registration for Daniel and Mary appears to date the marriage to the month of October. The Waterloo branch of the Ontario Genealogical Society has a transcription of marriage notices as they appeared in the Dumfries Reformer and this dates the marriage to the 16th of December, 1870. This latter date appears to have the rights of it. |

His date of birth appears on his death registration as 7 January, 1847.and place of birth is shown as North Dumfries on his death registration, although, at the time, this would still have been simply Dumfries Township in the Gore District. Death reg. 035385-36 Galt, Waterloo Co. Daniel Wilson died 14 Septeber, 1936, in his 90th year, at 11 Pollock Ave., Galt, which was his residence. Widower. Born North Dumfries Twp., Jany. 9, 1849.
