DeathShe died in 1855.
BurialShe was buried at Kinzie Biehn Cemetery, Waterloo Twp., Waterloo Co..
NoteAccording to a memorial stone erected in 1932 in the Kinzie Biehn Cemetery at Doon, Caroline Watson, the wife of John Tilt, was born in 1829 and died in 1855. Best reading of this memorial stone is that Caroline was the daugthter of James Watson, 1793-1870, and his wife Jane Cole, 1797-1858. This being so, then, going by the 1851 census, James and Jane were also the parents of Margaret Watson, who was the second wife of John Tilt. We must believe that Caroline and Margaret were sisters.

If the memorial stone is not misleading, then Caroline was buried in Kinzie Biehn Cemetery. Margaret was buried in Old Blair Memorial Cemetery, according to a transcription of this cemetery by the Waterloo branch of the Ontario Genealogical Society. Margaret's stone was in poor condition at the time of reading, but it's clear enough that she was the wife of John Tilt.
