By License. The handwriting on the marriage registration is such that it appears as if Eleanor's last name was Bulter. It is safe to say that 'Butler' is correct, for John and Eleanor are buried with both John and Eleanor's parents. The transcription of Mt. Hope Cemetery in Brantford makes that clear. |
