Cause of death paralysis, 3 hours. Physician Dr. Young. Informant Georgina Mortimer, Kingston. John's marriage registration shows his place of birth as City of Worcester. The 'Newport County' entry is totally unclear. The entry implies that Georgina signed the original death form, but since the handwriting is the same on the page the entry was evidently by the municipal clerk. A place of burial for John Mortimer has not been found. The burial records for Cataraqui Cemetery are to hand and his does not appear thereon. He may well be in an Anglican cemetery, and, given that he was a widower when he married Georgina, he may be buried with his first wife, name unknown. |
