Ancestry shows this in database: West Yorkshire, England, Church of England Births and Baptisms, 1813-1910 for Hannah Milnes Leeds, St Peter 1830, page 35 This reads Born 2? August, 1830 Baptized 12th Sept. Hannah dr. of William and Phillis Milnes, abode Nelson Street. Ceremony performed by J. Fawcett, vicar. William is described as a smith and this agrees with the marriage registration of Thomas and Hannah. The 2nd number in the date of birth could be either a 1 or an 8. The cramped formation crops up occasionally on other pages, but interpreting it would be a guess. We may say, however, that it isn't a 2. Death reg. 006293-08 Brantford, Brant Co.
