On 11 February, 1886, at East Flamboro, by R. H. Abraham, minister. Osborne Township is in the Nippising District, which seems unlikely as a birth place for Charlotte. A survey of census pages indicates that her parents were in Usborne Township, Huron County, at the time of her birth. A birth registration for her has not been found. Joseph's marriage registration shows his mother as Mary, but his death registration shows his mother as Charlotte 'Riffle'. |
