NoteThe birth and baptism information is per the Drouin Collection as presented by Ancestry. The baptism information records Richard's birth on March 12, 1836, as well as his baptism date of June 2 of the same year at the American Presbyterian Church in Montreal. The record indicates that Richard's mother was Veronica Cummings, or Cummins. His father was Thomas Rodden, a shoemaker.
