Born Ontario, residing Township of Morris. Parents Robert Maxwell and Jane Scott. Witnesses Alexander Ross and Mary Hutchison, both of Turnberry Twp. On January 10th, 1876, at Mr. Maxwell's residence, Township of Morris, by James Pritchard Minister. The clerk's handwriting was already a bit dated when in 1876 he used the antique form for writing the double S in the name Ross. It looks rather more like Rops. |
