| Note | Birth reg. 010507-87 Normanby Twp., Grey Co. 18 March 1887, William Ezra Stephan, s/o Frederick Stephan, farmer, Ayton P.O., and Mary Feick. The date shown on William's birth registration agrees with his date of birth as it appear on the 1901 census in Normanby Township. By 1911, William's parents are dead. William is still present in Normanby and with him are his sister Adeline (here, her name is clearly written) and his brother Albert. Also with the family is his sister Annie and her husband Sylvester Clements and their three children. As of the 1921 census, William and Minnie are still in Normanby Township and have with them two daughters. Sure later records for them have yet to be found. |
