Death reg. 024236-12 Ingersoll, Oxford County Olive Fenton Brown died Aug 7, 1912, date of birth Nov. 5, 1890. Age 22, born Ingersoll. Place of death Earl Street, Ingersoll. Housewife, married. Parents Mitchell Thomas Buchanan and Esther Fenton, both born Canada. Informant Fred W. Keller, Ingersoll. Cause of death diabetis and resperitory failure. The Ingersoll Chronicle of 8 August 1912 tells a bit more of the unhappy story. Although Olive and her husband had been residing in Galt, she died in Ingersoll at the home of her parents. She suffered from a long illness. The account does not give a date for the funeral, for her father was in the west and had not at the time of writing of the news account been contacted about his daughter's death. |
