The newspaper's edition of 24 February, 1864, records the marriage of George and Mary Ann. It does not date the marriage, but it does locate it in Blenheim. |
Death | She died on 9 November 1867 at Blenheim Township. |
Burial | She was buried at Washington Cemetery, Blenheim Twp., Oxford Co.. |
Note | Mary Ann's death was prior to vital statistics for deaths. No obituary has been found. The family was living in Blenheim at the time and she is buried at Washington Cemetery, so her death is shown as being in Blenheim pending further evidence. Mary Ann's birth in this tree is placed in Dumfries Township. Her parents were married there two years previously and her younger sister Elizabeth's marriage registration places her birth in Dumfries, hence placing Mary Ann's birth in Dumfries Township is reasonable. |
