Note | Ann's baptism record appears on microfilm LCM-30 as found in the United Church of Canada Archives. This reel covers First Church in Galt, which at the time was Presbyterian. Ann Scrimgeour's name, so spelled, appears as entry 166 and is dated May 20th, 1838. The family name is shown as Scrimger as this seems to be the later standard spelling, though, mostly, it should be noted, the family used the 'Scrimgeour' back in this early era. Death reg.
