Physician Dr. McIntyre. The registration is rather faded and not clear on all points. The cause of death is partially illegible, but the first word is 'phthisis'. This would appear to indicate that she died of tuberculosis. It is possible that the informant, James Scrimger, was a uncle of Jane's, but rather more likely he was her grandfather. |
