Titus and Ellen were still apparently single and living with their parents at the time of the 1851 census, likely taken in January of 1852. An article written in a newspaper (unknown) in 1927 places her birth around the end of December of the year and states that she would be 95. This may not be quite accurate. Her death registration in 1931 says she was 96 years old and 11 days. 1852 will be close to her marriage year. |

| Note | The following is from the January 10, 1931, edition of the Brantford Expositor: MRS. T.G. LAWRASON DIES AT AGE OF 96 Mrs. T. G. Lawrason, a resident of London, Ontario for seven years died yesterday at the home of her daughter, Mrs. A. H. Swartz, 125 Wortley road in her 96th year. Her maiden name was Ellen Van Every. She was born in St. George and was a descendant of U. E. Loyalists. Before coming to London she lived in Burford 60 years. She possessed all her faculties until the last. Voted in last Dominion election. Funeral service to be held at the Methodist Church in Cathcart at 3 pm. Sunday following a service at her daughters home in London at 1 o'clock. Interment in Burford Cemetery. Death reg. 023447-31 London, Middlesex Co. Mary Ellen Lawrason, 125 Wortley Rd., London. Racial origin Dutch. Widowed. Date of birth Dec. 29, 1834, at St. George. Age 96 years, 11 days. Died Jan. 9, 1931. Resided at place of death 7 years, in Canada all her life. Parents Charles Van Every and Amenda Showers, both born Holland (incorrect). Informant W.H.
