| Note | Death reg. 005652-05 Brantford, Brant Co. Phoebe Delilah Abel died 30 June, 1905, age 79. Residence 40 Arthur St. Born Canada. Methodist. Informant J.W. Wood. Such information as we have remains unconfirmed, but Phoebe Delilah Mulholland is probably the daughter of Hugh Mulholland, 1777-1865, and Mary Wedge, 1786-1867. This is still being researched. Harley Misener places Hugh and Mary as being buried in Troy Cemetery. This may be the case, but later transcriptions make no mention of them. At the time of the 1901 census in Brantford, we find Phoebe D. Abel with daughter Luella and her husband James Spence. Phoebe's age is given as 75 and her date of birth as 1 July, 1826. |
