Witnesses: the first name is rather illegible, but appears to be Helena McKeller of Guelph. The other is James W. Alexander of Guelph.
On 15th April, 1913, at Guelph, by R.E. Knowles of Galt, Presbyterian.

There is a rather unusual endorsement to the right hand side of the registration:

The reason for procuring the marriage to be solemnized in Guelph is not in order to evade due publicity or for any other improper purpose. The remaining endorsements are per usual.

A note: The clergyman, Rev. Robert E. Knowles of Knox Presbyterian Church in Galt officiated. His name is to be found in the Cambridge Hall of Fame. He was a very popular and successful minister in Galt and at one time was deemed to have the largest Presbyterian congregation in Canada. In 1911 he suffered injury in a train accident and was not well thereafter and had to resign from the ministry in 1915. In later years, he wrote novels and did interviews which he wrote of in a column in the Toronto Star.
