| Note | A death registration for Susan has not been found. She is buried with her parents at Drummond Hill Cemetery in Niagara Falls. A photo of the stone appears on a City of Niagara Falls web site. It isn't entirely clear, but, apparently, her death was on April 2, 1880.
Here, for once, George Dalton's ledgers fail us. Susan Cole apparently died April 2, 1880, and an Ann C. Cole died April 3, 1880. They are both buried in Drummond Hill Cemetery, their names inscribed on stones belonging to their respective families. Drummond Hill's online database shows Susan as Susan Ann Cole and give her date of burial as April 5, 1880. The same database shows the date of burial for Ann C. Cole as April 5, 1880. They are clearly buried with different families. |
