Place of death Perry Street, Barrie. Married. Housewife. Father's name (faded) David Procunier. Mother's name unknown. Informant D. Vrooman, Barrie. As best as may be found, Helen Procunier bore David Vrooman three children: Dora in 1873, Frank in 1875, and Mary Elizabeth in 1877. A birth and death registration only for Mary Elizabeth Vrooman has been found. No birth or death registrations have been found for Dora or Frank. We only know of their brief lives from a transcription of Strathroy Cemetery provided by the Middlesex County Branch of the OGS. The children all appear on the same stone, number 10, in row 14 of section F. The stones do not provide dates of birth but do show the childrens' ages in years, months and days. The dates of birth are calculated from this. Mary's date of birth as calculated from the stone is one day off from her date of birth as shown on her birth registration. The inscription on the stone shows her name as May, but the date of death agrees with her death registration which shows her name as Mary Elizabeth. |
