Parnel's name is spelled as Parnell on her birth registration, but as Parnel on her marriage registration and on her gravestone. Parnell is used here, but either may be correct. Also, William registered Parnel's birth the same date he registered the birth of Elsie. Hence the late recording. The 1911 census at Windham indicates that Parnel's given names were Mary Parnel. |
