Charles Hoar was born about 1585 in Gloucester, England.1 He was the son of Charles Hoar.1 He married Joanna Hincksman about 1609. He died between 25 September 1638 and 21 December 1638 in Gloucester, England.2
"Charles Hoar, brewer, stapler and alderman of Gloucester, England and his wife Joanna Hincksman. Both were devoted to the Rev. John Workman, a victim of Archbishop Laud. [Charles] died in 1638 ... within 3 years [Joanna] took her young family to Braintree Mass."
