Mark L Reavis

     Mark L Reavis was born on 31 August 1886 in Warrensburg, Johnson County, Missouri.1 He married Roma Carmen Summers, daughter of Perry Summers and Lillian Augusta Graves, on 15 November 1914 in Wauconda, Okanogan County, Washington.1,2 He died on 2 September 1949 in Walla Walla, Walla Walla County, Washington, at age 63.1

Mark's obituary in the Walla Walla Union Bulletin on 2 September 1949 read:
"MARK L REAVIS: 63; Prescott resident, died early Friday morning [9-2] in a Walla Walla hospital after an extended illness. He was born near Warrensburg MO 31 Aug 1886. Mr Reavis formerly farmed in the Prescott community and was a member of the Christian Church of Prescott, he also belonged to Whetstone Lodge-157, Knights of Pythias at Prescott.
He is survived by his wife Roma Reavis of Prescott; 2 bros: Leavitt & Gilbert of Touchet & several nieces and nephews.
Funeral arrangements are being made Sunday [9-4] from the Christian Church of Prescott with the Rev Harry Anderson-Waitsburg officiating & burial in the Prescott Cem."1

He was buried in Ivy Cemetery, Prescott, Walla Walla County, WashingtonG.1

He and Roma Carmen Summers had no children.3
