     John Joseph Murray was born on 8 October 1884 in Leeds & Grenville County, Ontario.1,2 He was the son of Michael Murray and Esther Jordan.2 He was baptized on 2 December 1884 in St Philip Neri Church, Toledo, Leeds & Grenville County, OntarioG.2 He married Veronica Frances Kenney, daughter of Thomas Bartlett Kenney and Eleanor Donahue, on 29 September 1909 in Elgin, Leeds & Grenville County, Ontario.3
