Sharyl Liming1

     Sharyl Liming was born about 1938.2 She was the daughter of Charles Barton Liming and Mary Ellen Hamilton.1 She married Donald Lubbers.2 She died on 26 January 2001 of lung cancer in Beaumont Hospital, Royal Oak, Oakland County, Michigan.2

Sharyl's obituary in the Detroit News, Detroit, Michigan, on 2 February 2001 read:
"Keego Harbor - A memorial service for Sharyl M Lubbers, a member in the 1970s of the Keego Harbor City Council and the West Bloomfield school board, was held Wednesday in Sylvan Lake Lutheran Church, 2399 Figa, Orchard Lake.
     Mrs Lubbers, 63, former executive director of the North Oakland Builders Association, died of lung cancer on Friday, Jan. 26, 2001 in Beaumont Hospital, Royal Oak.
     Mrs Lubbers was named woman of the year in 1975-76 by the Keego Harbor Business and Professional Women's Club. Michigan Gov. William Milliken also presented her with the Governor's Award for Outstanding Community Services.
     In Keego Harbor, she had also been a member of the city's planning commission, parks and recreation commission and its tax increment financing authority.
     Surviving are her husband, Donald; a son, Darren; a daughter Corine; three grandchildren; three brothers; and five sisters.
     Her body was cremated."2
