Christian Earhart
ID # 9400, (1822-1899)
Birth | Christian Earhart was born in February 1822 at Markham Twp., Home District, Upper Canada. |
Marriage | He married Hannah Wismer, daughter of Moses Wismer and Eunice Noble, on 4 September 1848 at Markham Township, Home District. An index has been found to the marriage of Christian and Hannah that directs us to page 29 of the Home District Marriage Register for the years 1843-1849. When turning to the available images to be found online, page 29 is missing. Dan Walker & Fawne Stratford-Devai have transcribed this register and they have evidently attended at the Archives of Ontario and worked from the original register. This indeed shows the marriage of Christian and Hannah and their transcription appears below. Global Genealogy, now of Ottawa, makes available this transcription and a printed or digital copy may be ordered from them. The following is extracted from a list of marriages appearing on page 29 by: Rev'd James W. Sharrard Minister of the Gospel in the Christian Church (Entry nbr. 25) Christian Airheart, to Hannah Wisemer, both of Markham. 4 Sept 1848, Markham. by Rev. Sharrard. Witnesses are not shown. |

This was near Mariposa Station. There had been a high wind and he had wraps around his head. At a guess, he never heard the train coming. A transcription of Little Britain Bible Christian Cemetery has yet to be obtained, but the Ontario Cemetery Finding Aid places Christian and Hannah in this cemetery. |
