Registrations of marriages were supposed to be filed in the township or municipality wherein the marriage occurred. The registration of this marriage does not have that look. Considering there may have been at the time no registration clerk in Allan then the marriage would normally have been registered in Gordon Township. That hasn't happened here, but there may be more to the story. |
