Some liberties are taken with the handwriting on this form.

First, the district name does not appear to have been 'Manitoulin' at the time, but that of Algoma.

Second, and going by the handwriting, the recording clerk was that of Gordon Township and not of Gore Bay. Where said clerk might have been located is another matter. The form, however, does not state the township or municipality wherein the marriage registration was filed.
