As per notes for Lydia's husband William, she and William are buried together in Quantztown Cemetery in Markham. This information is provided by a transcription of the cemetery, done by the Durham Region branch of the Ontario Genealogical Society in 1993. The stone's transcription dates Lydia's death to 5 January, 1887. No death registration for Lydia has been found. She does appear in the 1881 census with the family of her son Asa in Pickering Township in what at the time was Ontario County. |
